William of Ockham was one of the prominent scientists in the middle ages
to the top. He is a scientist who supports the metaphysical nominalism.
Other scientists are Thomas Aquinas and John Duns Scotus. As a reward
for him, then the metaphysical nominalism methodology called "Ockham's
Razor". It is not only an effect on metaphysics, but also affects other
sciences, such as ilsafat-logic, physics or natural philosophy, theory
of knowledge, ethics, and political philosophy, etc.
