character education in mathematics education requires a good understanding of the variety of teachers, students and the entire school community. character education in mathematics is a process. Ebbutt and Straker (1995) defines school mathematics as:
(1) math activities are browsing activity patterns and relationships,
(2) maths activity requires creativity, imagination, intuition and invention,
(3) the activities and results of mathematics needs to be communicated,
(4) problem solving activities are part of mathematical activity,
(5) algorithm is a procedure for obtaining answers to math problems, and
(6) social interaction is necessary in mathematical activities.

therefore, mathematics education must include these components. character education would be formed if it contains all math education component.
